Construction Package F2 – Canal Improvement under The Second Ho Chi Minh City Water Environment Improvement Project on Tau Hu – Ben Nghe – Doi – Te Canal basin with the loans borrowed from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), has been implemented by Song Da 9 - Quang Dai Viet Joint Venture. In this joint venture, Song Da 9 Joint Stocks Company holds a leading role of the Contractor and is responsible for key tasks, including the main construction items: piling work of reinforced concrete spun pile D500 with the total volume of 121,591 linear meter; reinforced concrete pile D600 with the total volume of 25,500 linear meter, sheet pile SW-400B with the total volume of 49,921 linear meter and construction of reinforced concrete revetment, sidewalk, lighting and landscaping items, etc.

The completion of Package F2 - Canal Improvement has significantly contributed to improving the stormwater drainage system, reducing flooding on Tau Hu - Ben Nghe - Doi - Te canal basin, enhancing urban aesthetics, improving water quality, addressing water pollution issues, and developing a collection and treatment system for wastewater along these canals. Simultaneously, the project has revitalized the appearance of the area.

Currently, Song Da 9 Joint Stocks Company has successfully completed all the construction items related to revetment, landscaping, greenery, and lighting items to be put into operation for the benefits of the residents around the construction area. The company has also handed over the completed work to the Employer for the next phases. The successful completion of Package F2 - Canal Improvement demonstrates the capabilities of Song Da 9 Joint Stocks Company and new directions in employment opportunities.
