Songda9 Joint Stock Company was established on July 20^th 1961, intially named Thac Ba Hydropower Plant Mechanical Inter-Station. Over the past 50 years, Songda9 has been a well-known as experienced and professional contractor specializing in earthworks in hydropower plants and irrigation works, traffic and technical infrastructure, mechanical precast structure, equipment repair and maintenance, small-medium scaled hydropower plant investment and management; industrial and urban zones…. The advanced construction technologies, such as: Concrete Face Rock-fill Dam (CFRD), Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC)…have been mastered successfully.

Songda9 brand-name has been confirmed in the local and regional area as quality, progress in several huge projects are always ensured such as: Thacba, Hoabinh, Yaly, Vinhson, Songhinh, Tuyenquang, Sonla, Selabam, Xekaman3 (Laos) Hydropower Plant; North – South 500KV power grid and transformer; Hochiminh Highway, 1A Highway (Thuongtin – Caugie section & Hanoi – Langson section).

Additionally, Songda 9’s valuable characteristics have presently been maintained in recent projects like Huoiquang, Huana, Laichau, Trungson hydropower plant; Noibai – Laocai highway (Yenbai city section);infrastructure construction for the Nui Phao mining project (Thainguyen province)…. by strong commitments of the Company executive officer and labor force in compliance with all quality standards, safety & health and environment regulations
